Beyond her research and teaching, Dr Dan-Ogosi has founded and co-led transformative initiatives that are reshaping equity, inclusion, and representation in UK higher education.
A pioneering pedagogical framework developed by Dr Dan-Ogosi to embed cultural responsiveness into higher education teaching. The model equips academic staff with evidence-based strategies to design inclusive, culturally-aware learning environments that reflect the diversity of the student body and the communities public health serves.

Dr Dan-Ogosi's research sits at the intersection of community development, democratic innovation, and health equity — with a commitment to research that changes policy and improves lives.
Investigating the mechanisms through which participatory budgeting approaches improve community health and wellbeing in deprived urban areas. Doctoral thesis focused on a qualitative case study in London.
Exploring community strengths, social capital, and asset-based frameworks as drivers of sustainable health improvement — including the award-winning 'Well Communities' programme.
Examining how democratic innovations — including community co-production and civic participation — create the conditions for healthier, more equitable communities.

Dr Dan-Ogosi delivered three presentations at the 2025 Magnus Public Health Conference: a poster on health and community resilience, an oral presentation on multicultural public health leadership training, and an oral presentation on participatory budgeting, health promotion, and theatrical engagement in North London.
Participated in the Society for Research into Higher Education (SRHE) Annual Conference 2025, presenting work on academic leadership and higher education equity.
Dr Dan-Ogosi is a proud participant of the 100 Black Women Professors NOW programme at UWE Bristol, a national initiative supporting Black women academics on their journey to professorship.
